Beatriz Santiago Muñoz conducts the program “The Sessions” in Puerto Rico, which consists in a series of experimental seminars anchored in geography, local knowledges, emergent artistic practices, and the political and social conditions of the island. Sometimes the Sessions feel like field research, and other times, like this one, as a wandering conversation. What happens if we walk out of a city? Where does the city begin and end? Through this attempt at answering these questions we put experience, embodied and sensitive experience at the center, activating a dialogue with what surrounds us, what we see and what we don’t.

In this occasion, we walked from Facatativá to Cachipay, on the railroads of the old Tren de la Montaña, now abandoned.
